Low-Power Technology to Ease Data Center Management

DDN solutions package more drives per system than any other technology. By packaging up to 60 drives per rack unit -- DDN reduces storage components (enclosures, power supplies, fans) by up to 75% as compared to traditional systems.

Dynamic MAID (D-MAID) technology allows the systems to spin-down hard drives and reduce energy consumption by up to 40% over spinning disk archives. DDN D-MAID technology is used in large archive systems all over the world -- and saves users up to $40,000 per year in energy and cooling costs.
