The single-controller write-back cache setting on declustered RAID versions of SFA OS should remain disabled (the default value). Enabling this option may put data at risk if a controller loss event occurs.
Some normal uses of lfs_migrate may put EXAScaler data integrity at risk. See bulletin for further information.
Security vulnerability CVE-2022-0847, also known as “Dirty Pipe”, enables an attacker to alter data even in read-only mode. This vulnerability is a potential risk for customers running SFA OS 12.0.x, but not through the known exploit method.
