The collaboration reached an important milestone on July 22, when leaders from the Naval Postgraduate School, NVIDIA, DDN, and government and industry partners gathered on the NPS campus in Monterey for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony commissioning the launch of the new AI Technology Center. The event marks more than the opening of a new facility—it represents a shared commitment to advancing AI education, accelerating research, and equipping the next generation of leaders with access to world-class AI infrastructure. By bringing together academia, government, and industry, the new center creates a collaborative environment where breakthrough ideas can move more rapidly from research to real-world operational capabilities that strengthen national readiness.
