MDC has received a loaner AI200 NVMe-over-InfiniBand device from DDN that was connected to MDC’s NVIDIA DGX-1. We have used this setup for benchmarking the DL algorithm to estimate the total runtime of this project. We will present the results of these early tests.

As a campus wide service provider Advanced Research Computing - Technology Services (ARC-TS) strives to meet the needs of the University of Michigan's large number of departments. Here Brock covers how they evaluated the use of our storage systems and established three tiers of storage to address our needs, while controlling complexity.
